Veguilla Mosaic

Installed as a mosaic pavement, it allegorically represents the five rivers of the Benavente region: Esla, Eria, Tera, Órbigo and Cea.

The heraldic emblem of the city presides over the complex: the Virgen de la Vega on a bridge, to which two scallops or shells have been added, which are one of the symbols of the coat of arms of the Pimentel family, lords of Benavente.

Its author is the Benavente sculptor José Luis Alonso Coomonte.
