Thus the shoring and columns that support its airy arcades have the characteristic trace of the civil work of the XVI century. The most noble materials of the building were reused in its restoration in the mid-19th century, as can be seen in the sign or lettering located on the panel of one of the arches of the fa\u00e7ade of C\/ de las Carnicer\u00edas, with the date 1948.  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em><u><strong><em>All\u00e9n House<\/em><\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em><u><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/strong>(Plaza Mayor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>It is a building facing the Guindas passageway built around 1940 and which undoubtedly replaced another similar building next door called the Pescader\u00edas. The new building tried to preserve the air of the Castilian square, emulating the nearby buildings, but at the same time contributing novel elements, such as the use of a cantilevered tower at its corner and the use of brick as a decorative motif. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em><u><strong><em>Lesmes House <\/em><\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/strong>(Plaza Mayor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Built in 1918 at the confluence of the Plaza Mayor and C\/ de la Manteca (currently Cort\u00e9s Leonesas). It is a sober building with arcades on its facade on the Plaza Mayor and stands out for the use of some colorful decorative elements in the use of brick as a building material, as well as the arrangement of terracotta masks or faces on the keystones of its balconies as an ornament. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em><u><strong><em>Mor\u00e1n House <\/em><\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/strong>(Plaza Mayor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Built in the second decade of the 20th century. It is a recently renovated building, which has preserved its facade overlooking the Plaza Mayor.
