Prado de las Pavas – Conde Pimentel Park

This space known as Prado de las Pavas was part of the famous Garden of the Counts of Benavente. It has several species of trees and plants with their identifying signs, an aquatic pond and in the summer there is a picnic area open to the public.

Completely surrounded by the Canal de los Molineros, also known as the “Ría de don Felipe”, is the Isla de las Pavas, which houses, in addition to an artificial lagoon where you can learn about the sustainability of traditional fishing gear, a small greenhouse, which allows you to grow a wide variety of plants to nourish this extensive recreation area.
