Big Bow

Located in the Paseos de Soledad González, it is the work of the Benavente sculptor José Luis Alonso Coomonte. The work represents a large loop placed on a stone base and is ascribed to the constructive-geometric forms and mechanical sculptures developed by the author. The material used on this occasion is iron, treated with great cleanliness of execution, inventiveness in the development and even the possibility of altering the positions of the piece with respect to the base. This sculpture dates from 1972 and was installed in 2002.
